Astounding support team

Support Akhmetbek hastily responded within a few minutes to address my problem and fixed it quickly. Very helpful staff member and made me want to stay shockbyte more due to friendly and amazing support/staff team.

Fixed the issues

Fixed the issues, but took a little too long to do so, other than the time as I know they can be busy it was a good experience. Just a little stressful when its you first time setting up an ark server

Scummy

This is my review to the scummy shame to all Minecraft hosting services. I had played vanilla Minecraft with my friend on Aternos a free hosting site. I had went to shockbyte because their prices were very good for what they claimed to offer and I wanted more power to run mods. However I went to Hell and back trying to actually get one installed. Not only are most of their tutorials outdated to where it is very difficult to follow (I wasn't able to get it to work the chat support just pointed me back to the videos) but their mod plugins themselves didn't work where you're supposed just hit a few buttons and their site will do the rest. I had even tried to install one and then update it myself but once again their tutorials are not clear-cut and old. This left me very unsatisfied I looked into how to receive a refund. In their Terms of Refund they claim you have to go to the cancellation request and it is right under the refund title. So that's what I did. A few hours later although I had asked a chat support agent and she pointed me to the ticket section. Their site itself is either outdated or horrendously organized and misinforming a lot of people. You can tell by their support itself that less than 30% of each page had been helpful according to the votes. I then submitted my support ticket. It is now more than a week later and they still haven't canceled my subscription which is ridiculous because why should you have to request to stop buying something. They also haven't responded to my ticket yet and they have the nerve to allow you to pay to move the ticket up the line moving other people hopeless. Its crazy how they dont respond to these requests or tickets when they have 24/7 support which I have found they respond in less than 10 min, yet they cant open refund tickets. Sounds kind of suspicious. I hope this review will change your kind about purchasing from this site because I had thought what you are thinking "This probably wont happen to me" but time has told it did happen to me and they are a terrible service.
